JAPAN VLOG #7 | Omotesando, Takeshita Street – 竹下通り, 表参道

maart 30, 2015

Hi there guys,

I hope you are enjoying my JAPAN VLOGs, because there will be more to come! Today I am sharing JAPAN VLOG #7 with you. In this vlog I visited Omotesando and Takeshita street. Both wonderful areas for shopping and experiencing the fast pace of Tokyo. Tatsuya and me met up with two friends of mine in Shibuya. From there on we walked all the way to Omotesando and Takeshita street.

Omotesando
If you like extravagant shopping streets Omotesando is definitely worth a visit. You can find brands like Prada, Louis Vuitton and Dior. Plenty expensive stores with high-end products are to be found here. You can shop either outside on the streets as well as inside a luxurious indoor mall.

Starbucks break
During the summer vacation Starbucks was offering a very refreshing lime drink. Tatsuya and me had it quite often. Laura had something more creamy with matcha flavor.

Takeshita Street
As the day progressed we decided to walk towards Takeshita Street and eventually take the train home at Harajuku Station. Takeshita Street has a totally different vibe than Omotesando. I don’t know if I am even in the right to compare the two with each other. Takeshita Street is lined up with a whole bunch of boutiques and few more internationally know stores. Various restaurants and cafes are located there too. This shopping street is especially popular among teenagers and girls who adore Harajuku fashion. Everywhere you look are cute and colorful goods, clothing and accessories being sold.
